Has authored realist fantasy novels, Suburban Tales and last year’s The Used Men’s Bicycle Club and non-fiction works including true stories of Mitchell Park in This is Not A Suburb. Dozens of short story publications and short story awards globally stand alongside years as a newspaper columnist and magazine satirist. He has hosted and produced record-breaking Breakfast shows on commercial and Christian radio and written and directed network radio and television comedy. He currently Co-Hosts the brain bending Oddfather Podcast and has also served time as an advertising creative director and copywriter. He has recently helped reform the academic approach to creative writing, with Tabor College’s unique Masters of Creative Writing and Communication and the Tabor Centre for Creative Communications. He is also convenor and sometimes editor of the annual Stories of Life book and competition.
